Peek Behind the Curtain: Kinky BootsThe “Peek Behind the Curtain” series features a panel of MSMT artists and staff involved in crafting the shows of the theatre’s upcoming season. Broadway World Maine Editor Carla Maria Verdino-Süllwold acts as moderator, with a question and answer period to follow. The panel discussions will be followed by a short, informal meet and greet. All Peek Behind the Curtain events are free and open to the public. This program is supported by a grant from The David Nichols Charitable Trust. |

Film Screening: Thoreau, Katahdin, the Native American, and the FutureThis independent event will be held in the Curtis Memorial Library Morrell Meeting Room. This film is part of a series associated with the Inspiration Katahdin! Exhibit – an exhibition of images and ideas. Fine art photography by Connie Baxter Marlow, with excerpts from the writings of Governor Percival Baxter, Henry David Thoreau, and Penobscot elder Arnie Neptune. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the publishing of Connie’s Scrimshaw Press book Greatest Mountain: Katahdin’s Wilderness.
