We’ve had to change venues for our Thursday Storytime and Craft. Weather permitting, we will hold activities outside in front of Hubbard. If not, we’ll be inside the museum where COVID protocols do apply. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Museum Event Info.

  • FREE and open to the public.
  • Registration not required, capacity limits may apply.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Masks are required within the Museum for visitors 2 to 4 years of age (N95, KF-94).
  • Restroom facilities are not available for tent activities.
  • Tent activities are weather permitting, check website for cancellations on the date.

Old Friends is a collaboration by Points of View artists Barbara Bean, Ed McCartan and Jackie Melissas.  Their work covers a broad range from ceramics to large, colorful acrylics.  Reception: Friday, July 8, 5-7 pm.   Gallery location and hours: 18 Pleasant Street; 9 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday.   FMI:;   207-373-9300

Join us in celebrating the many voices behind ArtVan’s 10×10 exhibit, “Bridge Messy, Emerge Ignited”! Shop the collection to help fund ArtVan’s mobile Art Therapy mission in Maine, groove to beats by the Deep Groove Crew, and enjoy unlimited wood-fired pizza made right in house by Nomad Pizza. Create art yourself: paint the next round of handmade ArtVan journals and dive into this week’s ArtVan project to see what we’re up to in our neighborhoods. The exhibit closes on July 30th, so this is one of the final days to experience and purchase the 104 works of art all together.
