We’ve had to change venues for our Thursday Storytime and Craft. Weather permitting, we will hold activities outside in front of Hubbard. If not, we’ll be inside the museum where COVID protocols do apply. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Museum Event Info.

  • FREE and open to the public.
  • Registration not required, capacity limits may apply.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Masks are required within the Museum for visitors 2 to 4 years of age (N95, KF-94).
  • Restroom facilities are not available for tent activities.
  • Tent activities are weather permitting, check website for cancellations on the date.

Music on the Mall Summer Concert Series

Music on the Mall, Downtown Brunswick’s Summer Concert Series, presents FREE concerts Wednesday evenings at 6PM* throughout the summer on the Brunswick Town Mall (Green, see map). Grab a blanket or chair, bring your family and friends, order a picnic dinner or dine at a local Brunswick restaurant, then relax and enjoy great music. 

FREE Admission. Hosted by the Brunswick Downtown Association!

August 31st concert features Blue Steel Express at 6 PM.

June 29Cilantro - Classics from the past 50 years with blended harmonies and delicate instrumentation.
July 6 Jason Spooner Band - Blending a wide variety of musical influences into a cohesive, energetic and listenable experience. Playing Roots rock, Americana, blues, folk, and groove-oriented jazz with undercurrents of reggae and soul.
July 13Delta Knights - Based in Portland, Maine and specializing in the best of R & B, blues, classic rock and swing.
July 20Jimmy Jo and the Jumbol’Ayuhs - Based in Phippsburg, the Jumbol'Ayuhs serve up music from Cajun Louisiana with a Downeast accent.
July 27Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations- A powerful mix of Motown/Memphis Soul Music
August 3Miners Creek Bluegrass Band - Contemporary Bluegrass at its best. Bluegrass fused with pop, rock, jazz, folk, Latin, Appalachian, gospel and blues.
August 10Bonnie Edwards & The Practical Cats -
The Practical Cats are an eclectic group of seasoned musicians that know how to lay down a groove with a unique style of Blues, Jump Swing, Jazz,Vintage R&B and original music!
August 17 Salty Dogs - A homegrown Wiscasset classic rock group with an astonishing repertoire of tunes from the 50s to the 2000s.
August 24**Double Night starts at 5:30! MSMT - Performing songs from a variety of shows. Plus, Maine Marimba Ensemble - traditional and contemporary Zimbabwean music on handcrafted marimbas!
August 31Blue Steel Express - The band features tight arrangements of blues standards, Brit-blues and original material.

Based on Annie Ernaux’s semi-autobiographical novel, Happening follows Annie, a bright young student who faces an unwanted pregnancy while abortion was still illegal in 1960s France.

A portion of the proceeds of this film will go to supporting Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund.

Live Music on the Patio at Pat’s Pizza with the Christie Ray Trio!

CHRISTIE RAY is an emerging Maine Singer-Songwriter-Musician, based out of New Gloucester. Along with performing at many venues throughout New England,  Ray has also performed live on the local tv show “207” and auditioned on the hit  tv show “ America’s Got Talent”. 

Though her sets focus on songs from her newly released album,  “THE BATTLE”, she’ll also put her own spin on cover songs from artists such as Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Miranda Lambert, Queen, Tom Petty, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Blondie and many more.  Christie is accompanied by Andrew Pelletier on percussion and backup vocals, along with Sean Finn on bass guitar and background vocals.
