Join Spark Cycling Studio for Sun Spark'd SaturdaysJoin us for Sun SPARK’d Saturdays, a series of mornings on the grass behind our beloved bunker for 45 minutes of moving and shaking on the bikes!
Recognizing that masked riding isn’t for everyone, we want to create as many opportunities to ride as possible. While being outside every day isn’t doable at this time, we are super pumped to spend some time under the sun on Saturdays as long as the weather cooperates!
Please note: masks are not required for our outside classes however if wearing one makes you more comfortable, please feel free to do so. We will decide weather feasibility (ie. rain, excessive heat, etc) by the evening prior and will communicate over our social media channels and via email to those that are signed up. American Red Cross Blood DriveThe American Red Cross will host a blood drive at the Mid Coast Hospital Parkview Campus in classrooms 2 and 3. In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, appointments must be made. All donors will be screened at the door: your temperature will be taken, you will be asked to use hand sanitizer, and you will be required to wear a mask. Donate between 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Please go to redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code “PARKVIEW” to make an appointment. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. One of Midcoast Humane’s generous supporters is hosting this event to help raise funds for the new building! Stop by 190 Pleasant Street in Brunswick to take part in activities such as raffles, grooming demonstrations, face paint, a photo booth and more, all while supporting animals in need! 35th Annual Sock Hop at Fat Boy Drive-InJoin us on August 28th 2021 for our 35th annual Sock Hop! Parking begins at 4 PM. Tickets are on presale now and all ticket proceeds will be donated to Maine State Music Theatre. Stop in or visit fatboyofmaine.com for more information!
You can purchase your pass here. The parking lot will open at 4PM, with the DJ starting at 5PM. The sock hop is open to all ages. Beer and wine available to those 21+ with a valid ID. No outside food or drink is permitted.
If cars are more your thing, there’s a prize for the best antique car (1980s or older).
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-12 years old. Free for 4 and under. All ticket sales will be donated to the Maine State Music Theatre. This year, the confirmation email from your ticket purchase will be required for admission, so please have that ready! We hope to see you there!
