You can help!  Volunteer for our fundraising challenge, based on a ‘Walk-a-thon’ or ‘Bike-a-thon’ model.  All you need to do is commit to work at the farm for one 4 hour shift and find supporters to sponsor your gardening shift, with a goal of raising $500.

WHERE: Growing-to-Give gardens at Scatter Good Farm – 30 E. Coxon Road, Brunswick, ME.

WHEN: Tuesday, August 10th – Saturday, August 14th, 8:00am – Noon or 9:00am – 1:00pm. When you sign up, you choose the day and time slot. At the end of the challenge, we will celebrate with the Farmyard Jam, a live music/food/drink celebration which will take place on Saturday, August 14th from 4:30-8:30pm!

WHY: Help us continue our mission of providing high-quality vegetables to our neighbors in need through our partnerships with food banks and pantries. Plus, there will be gift cards, t-shirts, food, drinks, and massages available for the volunteers!

Live Music at Flight Deck Brewing

The thing we’re most excited about post-pandemic is live music! Since it seems like our community is in agreement, we’ll be hosting live music every Friday AND Saturday from here on out.

July 23: Pejepscot Station never fails to serve up a heapin’ helpin’ of bluegrass, showcasing the multi-instrumental talents and soaring vocal harmonies of four of the region’s most seasoned old-time musicians. Bringing an eclectic mix of traditional songs, re-imagined hits, and heartfelt original songs, the only guarantee is a good time.

Friday, August 6: ALWAYS, sometimes is your favorite mixtape, live and acoustic. See why they’re a Flight Deck favorite every first Friday, all summer long.
