This exhibition features outstanding nineteenth-century paintings and sculptures from the Museum’s permanent collection and highlights collectors such as James Bowdoin III, George William Boyd, and Mary and Harriet Walker who were instrumental in building a fine arts collection at Bowdoin College.

Thursday: 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.
Special Sunday hours: 12:00 noon–5:00 p.m. (June 29–November 10, 2019)

We’re kicking off the 35th Trek Across Maine, which features a new route starting and ending right here on Brunswick Landing, with live music, delicious food, and fresh beer. Join the team from the American Lung Assn of Maine, and community members from Brunswick Landing to celebrate, support the riders, or find some liquid courage yourself.
We’ll have detailed information about the new route, experts on hand to answer any last minute questions about the Trek, and community members to provide #protips on some great activities and destinations to enjoy while you’re in the greater-Brunswick area.
**The brewery is open to the public 12pm-9pm, but you can expect live music and Trek-affiliated folks to be on-hand starting at 4pm. Flight Deck is always family-friendly!

Join H2Outfitters’ Head Honcho, Cathy Piffath and Director of Fun, Jeff Cooper, for this two hour informative session that will highlight the safety concerns of kayaking on Maine’s coastal waters and discuss ways to minimize exposure should one capsize.
In addition to a brief discussion on the gear, clothing and safety equipment one should carry on the kayak you will also have the opportunity to watch on DVD various rescue techniques to get yourself back into your kayak if it capsizes as well as help a buddy back into their capsized kayak.
