CNA Recruitment Open House

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are an important part of the healthcare team. Becoming a CNA is a great way to launch your medical career.

We welcome you to join us for a CNA Recruitment Open House. Take a tour and meet with members of our recruitment team. Refreshments provided.

  • June 4 from 4-6 p.m., Mid Coast Hospital, Community Resource Room
  • June 11 from 4-6 p.m., Mid Coast Senior Health, 58 Baribeau Drive
Open house attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interview with members of the Mid Coast–Parkview Health Recruitment Team, tour the facility, and enjoy light refreshments.
Not only are CNAs an essential part of any healthcare team, but becoming a CNA is also an excellent pathway toward launching a career in healthcare. CNAs provide hands-on care to patients and assistance with the activities of daily life. At Mid Coast–Parkview Health, CNAs are currently needed in many areas, including Mid Coast Hospital, Mid Coast Senior Health, and CHANS Home Health & Hospice.
Mid Coast–Parkview Health’s CNA Training and Placement Program is especially unique, as it provides both training and job placement within the Mid Coast–Parkview Health system.
Participants will receive paid tuition for a community-based CNA training course. The training is a state-approved 180-hour course, held two nights per week for 19 weeks, and includes classroom time, lab practice, and clinical hands-on experience.

In addition, while earning their CNA certificates, eligible participants of the program will also receive part-time, 20-hour per week employment at Mid Coast–Parkview Health, with a flexible schedule and an employee benefits package.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will then be offered employment as a CNA within the Mid Coast–Parkview Health system. Long-term advancement opportunities will also be available for those interested in a nursing career.
