Exhibition: The Nineteenth Century: American and European Art

This exhibition features outstanding nineteenth-century paintings and sculptures from the Museum’s permanent collection and highlights collectors such as James Bowdoin III, George William Boyd, and Mary and Harriet Walker who were instrumental in building a fine arts collection at Bowdoin College.

Museum Hours

Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Thursday: 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.

Special Sunday hours: 12:00 noon–5:00 p.m. (June 29–November 10, 2019)

Closed on Mondays and national holidays.The Bowdoin College Museum of Art is open to the public free of charge, although donations are welcome. The Museum is wheelchair accessible through the Pavilion entrance. Bowdoin College Museum of Art is a member of The Maine Art Museum Trail

National Tennis Tournament + Lobster Bake

National Tennis Tournament: Maine Pines Men’s 35 USTA ITF Lobster Bake Tournament

Come watch some of the top tennis players in the country for FREE at Maine Pines Racquet and Fitness between May 29-June 2. Maine Pines offers free admission to watch, as well as a free French Open Brunch on Sunday, June 2 for the finals of the tournament! The schedule will be posted on the Maine Pines Facebook page as the tournament gets closer, but plan to stop by with your family and friends to watch this amazing sporting event!

Trailblaze Challenge Info Session

Join the folks of Make-A-Wish Maine to learn about their Trailblaze Challenge, an endurance event, where participants hike a 23.4 mile journey in one amazing day!

The information session and hike caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts, providing a fourteen-week training program.
