Prescription for Health is a free, one-hour introductory program to get you started on improving your health. It is offered by the Mid Coast Center for Community Health & Wellness.
Program is offered every Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. except July 4, Thanksgiving, and the week of Christmas and New Year’s.
Prescription for Health is held in the Movement Room at the Community Health & Wellness Center at Mid Coast Hospital’s Parkview Campus, located at 329 Maine Street–South Entrance, Brunswick. For more information, please call (207) 373-6585.

Music in April is THE signature fundraiser for People Plus. It combines wonderful dining, live music, and silent and live auctions. Lead sponsors for the 17th annual Music in April gala include Rousseau Management, Mid Coast-Parkview Health, and Bangor Savings Bank. Over 30 other local businesses also sponsor the event.
Proceeds enable People Plus to serve the greater Brunswick community by offering a variety of activities to support engaged, healthy and independent lives for older adults, as well as hosting the Teen Center where young people can meet safely to explore creative outlets, eat a meal, and develop into well-rounded adults. People Plus also provides outreach and transportation services, and offers a many volunteer opportunities.
