We’re walking 362 miles from Ft Kent to Kittery this fall … Walk or sponsor walkers! Proceeds will buy fitness equipment for our new building at 3 Industrial Parkway, opening next year.

Adult Tennis 123 Program

Have you always wanted to learn the lifetime sport of tennis? Or, did you used to play and you would like to come back? This is the clinic for you! Tennis 123 at Maine Pines is a great way to learn all the strokes in a 3 week session. You will also get free weekend court time and a free cardio tennis class. The class will meet (your choice) one of the following: Tuesdays 9-10 am, Wednesdays 6-7  pm, or Saturdays 10-11am. Come for 3 weeks on your chosen session to learn this great sport! We have rackets you can borrow as well.

Points of View Artists Exhibit Nature of the Universe

Points of View Artists close their 2018 gallery season with Nature of the Universe, an artful exploration by 14 artists ranging from physics to reality, life and humanity.  On the 3rd floor, Jackie Melissas and Ann Slocum show Works in Progress.  The exhibits open September 10.

Reception:  Friday, September 14, 5-7 pm.

Rediscovering Historic Films by Alfred Otto Gross, Pioneering Bowdoin Ornithologist

This is the first public screening in nearly 90 years of recently preserved short films taken by A. O. Gross. They feature the last known footage of the now extinct heath hen and rare scenes of North Atlantic bird colonies.
