We require all of our new athletes, regardless of fitness level, to go through our Fundamentals program.
If you are a seasoned CrossFitter (CrossFitting for more than 6 months) from another gym you will not be required to retake our fundamentals program.
Our comprehensive fundamentals program takes you through the following:
• Familiarization with the basic Olympic Lifts.
• Familiarization with CrossFit vernacular and acronyms.
• You will learn how to work out and do it well.
• Proficiency with the basics of CrossFit so that we can prepare you for the regular classes.

Maine native and insatiable (10,000 mile) hiker Jeff Ryan has just published his first book: Appalachian Odyssey: A 28-year hike on the Appalachian Trail. For nearly 3 decades, Jeff hiked a section of the trail with the same friend (they started hiking in 1985 and completed the AT in 2013).
This is not a “we ate oatmeal and walked 12 miles” narrative. It is a story rich with meaning that speaks to challenges, perseverance and friendship. It is one told through a mixture of stunning photography and humor as well. This is a fundraiser for Teens To Trails, a local non-profit dedicated to increasing outdoor opportunities for teens.
