Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Meeting on January 25th at Wild Oats Bakery & Café.
We celebrated a successful year with members, friends, and volunteers at the event which was dedicated to recognizing and thanking individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the community with the presentation of three Annual Awards.
However, the pinnacle of the evening came with the presentation of a Lifetime BDA Membership to John Eldridge, Brunswick Town Manager. “This distinguished honor encapsulates John’s unwavering dedication and unparalleled support to the BDA and the broader Brunswick community” said Lynn Mansfield, BDA Executive Director. His lifetime commitment to fostering growth, community spirit, and cultural and economic vitality was recognized as an enduring legacy.
As the night unfolded, it became clear that the BDA’s Annual Meeting is not merely a ceremonial event; it is a testament to the strong bond between the association and the Brunswick community. Each award, every acknowledgment, and the Lifetime BDA Membership to John Eldridge reflected the shared commitment to making Downtown Brunswick a dynamic and thriving hub. The event concluded with an invitation for all community members to stay connected, explore the vibrant calendar of events planned for the upcoming year, and actively engage with the Business Directory. “The commitment echoed in the room was clear: Brunswick is not just a location; it’s a destination,” said Brian Robinson, BDA Board Chair.
The evening will include a cash bar, serving wine, cocktails, and beer (featuring Flight Deck Brewing), plus plenty of delicious hors d’oeuvres created by Wild Oats Bakery!!
