Tea With Harriet: Held the third Thursday of each month at 1 PM. Come have tea and celebrate the life and legacy of Harriet Beecher Stowe through an entertaining talk that highlights different topics relating to her writing, her family and her extraordinary life.  The event is free, but due to popularity, tickets are required, and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
TEA WITH HARRIET, Thursday, September 20, 2018: “The Beecher Preachers”.  Bowdoin College is proud to present Tea With Harriet, a monthly tea and conversation series about the life and legacy of Harriet Beecher Stowe. This event is held the third Thursday of each month, 1 p.m.–2:30 p.m., at 63 Federal Street, in the home where Harriet Beecher Stowe lived (1850-1852). It was there that Stowe wrote Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Visit www.Bowdo.in/tea to reserve your spot or be put on the Wait List.
