A *NEW* Aerial Yoga Class has been added to our Brunswick Studio calendar. The amazing Leah Titcomb, CYT and owner of Forever Wild Yoga, will be teaching a weekly Aerial Class at Jade Integrated Health on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.

A little Info about Aerial Yoga:
Aerial Yoga is a modern style of yoga that incorporates a low-hanging soft fabric hammock to explore alignment, release chronic tension, hang upside down, and have fun! For experienced yogis, aerial yoga will add a new dimension to complement your existing practice on the ground. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not required. Every class includes a gentle warm up, decompression, supported inversions, core and upper body strengthening, deep relaxation, and fun!

A *NEW* All Levels Yoga Class has been added to our Brunswick Studio schedule. This 7am Friday All Levels Yoga Class is taught by Kirsten Twaite, DPT, CYT. As well as being a Physical Therapist at Jade, Kirsten teaches multiple yoga and fitness classes. The depth of knowledge she brings to a class helps elevate her students, especially the yogis with modifications or limitations. First time Yogi? This is a perfect place to start!
A little about All Levels Yoga at Jade:
Our invigorating All Levels Yoga classes are designed to support and encourage all levels of yoga practitioners. Beginners receive instruction and modifications to begin to form their yoga practice, while experienced students are offered more challenging variations of poses as they continue to grow their yoga practice.
Our All Levels Yoga Classes may combine various styles of yoga including Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Iyengar. Special attention is brought to alignment as we build strength and flexibility while increasing energy and stamina, as well as nurturing the mind-body connection.

Have you always wanted to learn the lifetime sport of tennis? Or, did you used to play and you would like to come back? This is the clinic for you! Tennis 123 at Maine Pines is a great way to learn all the strokes in a 3 week session. You will also get free weekend court time and a free cardio tennis class. The class will meet (your choice) one of the following: Tuesdays 9-10 am, Wednesdays 6-7 pm, or Saturdays 10-11am. Come for 3 weeks on your chosen session to learn this great sport! We have rackets you can borrow as well.

The Maine Crafts Guild will present the 3rd Annual Brunswick Fine Craft Show on October 27 & 28, 2018 in Brunswick, Maine at the Fort Andross Mill Complex. The show will offer works of excellence in fine craft, designed and handmade by professional Maine artisans.
Over 30 artisans will travel from around the state to exhibit, with several local to the Brunswick area including; Tom Dahlke (furniture), Bonnie Bishoff and J.M. Syron, Maggie Bokor, Lisa and Scott Cylinder, and Anita Roelz (jewelry), Emi Ito and Amy Smith (woven fashion) and Catherine Worthington (textile art).
The Maine Crafts Guild is a statewide organization, established in 1975. Members are selected through a jury-of-peers process and are comprised of journeymen, nationally recognized masters and founding members who dedicate themselves to excellence in fine craft.

Admission: $4 adults; under 18 free

Fall on the Mall is a FREE Community Event that will be happening on Oct 27th (10 am – 3 pm) on the Mall, in downtown Brunswick. The fun will include 5 inflatables… a Super Slide, a 40′ Obstacle Course/Climbing Wall, Velcro Sticky Wall, two Bounce Houses, hotdogs, snacks, games, and prizes! In case of rain, this event will be held in the gym at Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary (44 McKeen St, Brunswick).

This is a great opportunity to promote your business, organization or team while supporting your community. The event is completely free and open to the public for participation. The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow! In this comedic version of the classic Washington Irving tale, schoolteacher Ichabod Crane helps the Headless Horseman find a new head and a spookier image. Meanwhile, a jealous Brom Bones tries to run Ichabod out of town as they both vie for the affection of Katrina Van Tassel.
Two showings will be available; the first showing is at 2pm and the second show is at 5 pm. “Meet the Puppets” at Cool As A Moose before the 5 pm show. The puppets will be at Cool As A Moose from 3:45 to 4:15. It is a great opportunity to say hi, learn how the puppets work, and decide if your kids would enjoy the show!
You do not want to miss this show. It is fun for kids and even the adults too! Come dressed in your Halloween costume!!
