Adult Tennis Beginner 123

Looking to learn the sport of a lifetime? Played before but haven’t picked up a racket in awhile? Adult Tennis 123 is perfect for you!

You will learn all tennis strokes over the course of a month. Session start the beginning of each month; choose from one of the following: Tues. 9-10am, Wed. 6-7pm, or Sat. 10-11am. Cost is $55 and includes free court time on the weekends, a free cardio tennis class, a free social tennis mixer, and more! There is an option to join fitness and yoga as well.

Chair Yoga - New at People Plus

People Plus is pleased to now offer Chair Yoga, a wonderful blend of breathing and stretching to improve balance, stability and peace-of-mind with popular instructor Joe Palma. Open to all levels (Beginner to advanced yoga practitioners) $5 members/$10 non-members. Try any class once for free.

Instructor Joe Palma have been studying and teaching yoga for over twenty years. Students of ISHTA (Integrated Science of Hatha Tantra and Ayurveda) founder, Alan Finger, the pair integrate breathing, poses and meditation to balance one’s self. Through the combination of technique, humor and grace, the instructors make the benefits of yoga available to all.

Jen Blood is a freelance writer, certified dog trainer, and the USA Today-bestselling author of the Erin Solomon Mysteries, and the Flint K-9 Search and Rescue Mysteries. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing/Popular Fiction from the University of Southern Maine, is a regular blogger with Maine Crime Writers, and leads workshops throughout New England on writing, editing, and independent publishing.
