Dale Ratcliff at Bayview Gallery

Dale Ratcliff spends more time observing and painting the threshold between the living rock and the restless sea than most artists. For her, it offers a constantly changing yet familiar motif to explore ways to capture this rugged beauty in all kinds of light and weather. A perfect example is her painting “Surf Off Ogunquit”, an acrylic on canvas measuring 30″ x 30″. The forceful brushwork and brilliant colors allow us to linger on the scene without losing any of the intensity of being there in the moment. See more of Dale’s wonderful paintings here: http://bit.ly/2eCjmZQ
