My Money Works

This class can help you gain the skills and confidence you need to stretch your money, pay your bills, reduce debt, find money for savings, plan for retirement, and set personal financial goals. At the end of the class you will have a plan to achieve greater financial stability. A follow-up session is scheduled to provide additional networking and support. Successful completion of this class meets one of the requirements for the Family Development Account (FDA) and Rainy Day Savings (RDS) matched savings programs.

Ounce of Prevention: Calling 9-1-1

As part of the ongoing Ounce of Prevention series, Mid Coast Senior Health Center will host “Calling 9-1-1” on Monday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to Noon, at Mid Coast Senior Health Center, 58 Baribeau Drive, Brunswick.

Presenters David Hudson, EMT-P, with Mid Coast Hospital’s Paramedic Interceptor Service and Matt Hincks, RN, Director of Emergency Services at Mid Coast Hospital will help participants understand when to call 9-1-1, signs and symptoms of potential 9-1-1 emergencies, and what to expect door-to-door with emergency care.

Kids Tennis at Maine Pines

Junior Kids Tennis is a fast growing lifetime sport! Have your kids join us at Maine Pines on the court for fun games and drills as they learn to play tennis.

Preschool kids meet Thurs from 11:45-12:30, kids ages 4-7 meet on Mon and/or Wed from 4-5, kids ages 8-11 meet on Mon and/or Wed from 5-6.

Middle School kids meet on T/Th/Fri from 4-5 pmball-boy-girl

High School kids meet on T/Th/Fri from 3-4.

Costs vary based on program, but ranges from $40-$69/month. We also offer Saturday Jr. Tennis for kids ages 11-18 and Learn to Rally Saturday tennis for kids ages 4-11.
