This class can help you gain the skills and confidence you need to stretch your money, pay your bills, reduce debt, find money for savings, plan for retirement, and set personal financial goals. At the end of the class you will have a plan to achieve greater financial stability. A follow-up session is scheduled to provide additional networking and support. Successful completion of this class meets one of the requirements for the Family Development Account (FDA) and Rainy Day Savings (RDS) matched savings programs.

Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary is seeking donations for the Grand and Glorious Yard Sale.
Donations can be dropped off every Wednesday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to Noon through May 13 at Merrymeeting Plaza, 147 Bath Road in Brunswick.
For furniture pick-up, or if donating the contents of a home or business, call (207) 373-6015. All donations are tax deductible.

First Parish Welcomes Renowned Scholar Dr. Diana Butler Bass
First Parish Church of Brunswick extends a cordial invitation to the public to meet Dr. Diana Butler Bass, nationally known author, religion and culture scholar lecturer, and preacher during her time in Brunswick the weekend of Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7. Her most recent book is entitled: Grounded: Finding God in the World, a Spiritual Revolution.
Her focus will be in the changing perspectives of God and how those changes are transforming individuals and faith communities. Events include a workshop on Saturday 12:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. with presentations from her on Saturday 7 p.m. and again on Sunday 12:30 – 2 p.m. all to be held in Pilgrim House, 9 Cleaveland Street in Brunswick. In addition, she will be the guest preacher at Sunday worship services in the First Parish sanctuary at 10 a.m.
