New Ventures Maine helps people all over Maine venture in new directions with their careers, businesses, and personal finances through tuition-free trainings. Our mission is the economic empowerment of Maine people and their families.

ArtVan is a mobile arts therapy organization whose mission is to provide a creative and collaborative environment to encourage youth who have little or no arts access to fully express their imaginations, relationships and experiences within themselves, among their peers and across our communities.

CollegeGuild
College Guild in Brunswick is the nation's only provider of free correspondence courses and dictionaries to prisoners around the country. Since 2001, more than 6,000 students have enrolled. A force of 150 volunteer Readers from Bowdoin College to California read and respond thoughtfully to students' writings in a mutually-anonymous and richly rewarding practice.
