Kick off Summer at a Community BBQ! Join us on the Town Mall on Maine Street in downtown Brunswick between 11:30 AM and 2 PM on Saturday, June 24th. Community BBQ 1 web

Adults: $5 per person. Kids: 5 and under $3 all cooked by Celebrity grillers!
Meal includes choice of hamburger or 2 hot dogs, chips, cookie, watermelon & beverage.

Music on the Mall, Downtown Brunswick’s Summer Concert Series, presents FREE concerts Wednesday evenings at 6 PM throughout the summer on the Brunswick TownMOM text test new color Mall (Green- see map). Grab a blanket or chair, bring your family and friends, order a picnic dinner or dine at a local Brunswick restaurant, then relax and enjoy great music. FREE Admission.

All concerts start at 6 PM unless except for Children’s Night (5 PM).
In the case of inclement weather, rain date performances will be held on Thursdays when available.

2nd Friday Brunswick!

The BDA is reviving 2nd Fridays as an inclusive series of events which will encompass ArtWalk, while also showcasing local shops, restaurants, and artistic talent from a variety of mediums. This event is intended to give residents and visitors a unique opportunity to engage with the arts. 2nd Friday Brunswick offers a fun evening of artistic exploration featuring visual art, live music, dance and theatrical performances, and extended shopping hours all within walking distance of Maine Street.

The 2nd Friday Brunswick event will occur from 4 to 7 p.m. on the second Friday of each month from June through September, (June 9th, July 14th, August 11th, September 8th). Located within Brunswick’s downtown district: Pleasant Street to Mill Street, and along Maine Street, ending at the Fort Andross Mill Complex. Event festivities will include an ArtWalk with over 40 artist displays in downtown galleries, retail shops, restaurants, and on the street

BDA's Benefit Auction

Magic on MaineYou are invited to the Brunswick Downtown Association (BDA) Live & Silent Auction on ThursdayOctober 19th from 5 to 7:30 pm at The DanielAuction proceeds support the Free community events hosted by the Brunswick Downtown Association!  This Silent and Live Auction will offer a variety of items which will be auctioned off by John Bottero Auction Services. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres created by The Daniel. Rolling Slumber Bed Races

The 7th Annual Rolling Slumber Bed Races will take place on November 11th at 11 AM on Park Row, Downtown Brunswick. You won’t have to wonder if you’re dreaming….there really WILL be beds racing on Park Row!  In the spirit of Community, families, businesses and local organizations can create a bed to race in this amazing, fun-filled event. The Rolling Slumber Bed Race will delight spectators with fast, funny and uniquely created beds — all on wheels!Rolling Slumber Bed Races graphic - Brunswick, Maine

Prizes will be awarded for speed, creativity and team spirit. The event is free for spectators. Since the race can be fast-paced, only adults (over age 18) will be able to participate.

Annual Tree Lighting with Santa

Ring in the season with neighbors and friends at the Brunswick Downtown Association’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! Tree Lighting thumb

  • 2 – 5:00: Enjoy free Horse and Carriage rides, hot cocoa and coffee and cookies.
  • 3:00: Santa and Frosty the Snowman will arrive at 3 PM on a firetruck Santa will then take a seat in the Gazebo to visit with children and hear their Christmas wishes.
  • 4 – 5:00: The Brunswick High School Chorus will sing carols.
  • 5:00: The tree will be lit!
